At Ten Tiny Toes Yoga, our passion is to help you find comfort, peace, inner strength, flexibility, and joy in every stage of your journey to motherhood. From Prenatal Yoga to Mom and Baby Yoga to Vinyasa Yoga classes, our mission is to give you opportunities to feel amazing. Please take a look around and join us soon
The Month Long Prenatal Cohort Series is an exciting opportunity for moms to commit to their yoga practice with other pregnant moms. We will get to know each other, grow our practices, share our pregnancies, and motivate each other. Some of the most amazing friendships have blossomed in these classes! We end each class with some serious pampering like aromatherapy, massage, hot tea, and light snacks. Monday will be your favorite day of the week!!
Prenatal yoga is a practice uniquely designed to help the mom-to-be both physically and emotionally. There is an emphasis on breathing techniques, pelvic floor strength, stamina building, restorative poses, and core strength to help moms have a safe pregnancy, an easier delivery, and a faster recovery. Here you can engage with women, on the same journey as you, and leave with life-long mommy friends!
Mom and Baby Yoga is an amazing class to ease the muscles of your neck, back, shoulders, and to rebuild your core and pelvic floor. Through safe and focused instruction, we help to reengage and strengthen the core and pelvic floor muscles while also getting in a great workout. This class is also a community of moms with newborns, just like you! Here you can openly discuss concerns, tips, successes and local opportunities to get out with your baby and enjoy this great new world.
For many unique reasons, some prefer to have lessons done in the privacy of their homes. While a community of moms is always an amazing, encouraging, and loving vibe, I completely respect the wishes of those who desire a more intimate or one-on-one instruction. If you are interested in exploring this option, please reach out and let's discuss what will work best for you.
Growing up, there was a handcrafted pillow that sat on our family couch that read, "If momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy." Preach.
Pregnancy is hard. So much is changing in your life, in your career, in your body. It can seem overwhelming, but, yoga can help you to soothe and ease your body, calm your mind, and find your strength and ability to do this, and to do IT well. Yoga makes pregnancy easier, delivery so much better, and recovery quicker.
Postpartum is never the same for every mother or for every baby. You get so wrapped up in those new ten tiny toes, you forget how important it is that YOU are taken care of first. You're tired, you're emotional, you're in pain. Then, you find a mom and baby yoga class. You find that your body really can feel strong and powerful and like it is YOURS again. And, you also meet some new lovely moms that talk with you, walk with you, and grow with you. Happiness.
I have been teaching yoga since 2016. I love teaching Vinyasa and Hatha classes but my passion has always been Prenatal Yoga. This has evolved to include Postpartum Yoga, Mom & Baby Yoga, and Mommy Yoga Fit classes. My classes focus on the needs of the mom but always begin with breath work and meditation, start warming up the body to build strength, stamina and suppleness, and wind down to leave you calm and relaxed.
When I am not teaching yoga, you will find me exploring the wild outdoors with my husband, two zany and adorable daughters, and dogs Charlie and SilencioBruno....or baking cookies, lots of cookies, that I love to bring to class. Please reach out anytime you have any questions or inquiries. I am so happy to meet you!
Managing your Breath :)
Prenatal yogis - Please print the release form at the bottom of this webpage and bring to class. In addition, you will need your own mat and water bottle. If you have a bolster or blocks, you are encouraged to bring those as well. If you feel light headed, a light snack is encouraged.
Mom & Baby yogis - Please bring your own mat, towel/swaddle for baby to lay on with any toys they prefer, and a water bottle to class. Murphy's Law states that your baby WILL spit up, probably on me, and have a blow-out, in that beautiful onesie....so bring backups! Feel free to nurse, feed, or change baby during class.
